This is the perfect time of year to start your miniature gardens! Small-scale landscapes challenge our creativity and provide opportunities for exciting plant combinations. They are easy to assemble and maintain, and they allow us to express a unique blend of personal aesthetics and style. In this class with floral designer Alana Miller you will use succulents, "steppables," stones and miniature plants to create gardens that are a delight for young and old. All materials provided.

Tuesday, June 10, 7-9pm
Everlasting silk flowers can add a lot of color and texture to our decor. Learn the proper construction and design techniques in this workshop with floral designer Alana Miller, and create your own lovely silk bouquet (with stems) for a special event or decorator piece for your home. All materials are included. Please bring wire cutters and scissors.

Explore the artistic and colorful detailing created in the pavé style of floral composition, useful in so many ways. Pavé is created by precisely placing various floral materials close together - literally "paving" with flowers - creating a flat, textured, painterly effect. All fresh flowers and other materials provided in this advanced workshop with floral designer Alana Miller. Bring floral tools.

#FF0709   From Your Own Garden - Arrangement Workshop
Wednesday, July 9, 7-9pm
Bring a shopping bag of your favorite home-grown fresh flowers and herbs, along with a florist knife or scissors, for this two-part workshop with floral designer Alana Miller. We will cover the fundamentals of floral design and create two projects. The first will be an arrangement using your fresh flowers with additional materials provided. The second project will be a hand-tied floral bouquet suitable for a centerpiece, wedding, or gift. Greens, filler, containers, ribbon and more included.
