Class Description: Tracy Gaus owns the award-winning Herbly Wonderful in Batavia, where she grows fresh culinary herbs as well as cut flowers and heirloom vegetables for sale at her own farm store and at farmers’ markets, including the Rochester Public Market. Join Tracy for this class on Everything You Need to Know, aka Eat, Sleep and Breath Herbs. We will go beyond the basic to explore the multitude of varieties of herbs, as well as the special germination and cultivation techniques and quirks for successfully growing your own from seed. Tracy will then cover uses for various herbs, and everyone will plant an herb to take home. |
