0808FW Tour Erie Way Flower Farm and Decorate a Twig Wreath with Fresh Flowers

Tuesday, August 8

6:30-8 pm

Jill and Mike Bower have run their own Christmas tree farm in Holley since 1985. As the grow-local, buy-local flower movement took off across the US, and inspired by a visit to Nellie Gardner’s flower farm in Spencerport, the Bowers expanded to include a working flower farm and a thriving twig wreath business. Tour their flower farm, Erie Way Flowers, where Jill will talk about how they got started, and the seasonal process of flower farming. Then decorate a 22” twig wreath (made on the farm) with an arrangement of flowers fresh from the farm. Your twig wreath will last indefinitely, and you can continue to add new flowers and decorations for all seasons. Jill will show you how she creates her twig wreaths, then guide you in designing and applying your arrangement to your wreath. All materials included. Directions will be emailed before the class.
