0517KB Tour of Kelly Botanical Gardens

Wednesday, May 17

10:30 am-12:30 pm

Jim Kelly, former botanist and horticulturist for the Rochester Parks Department, has for the past 20 years been establishing special woody plants of all sorts at his 5 acre arboretum in Albion, NY. The collection includes unusual conifers and deciduous trees and shrubs, many of them rare in the US, as well as natives from the western US, and also perennials and flowering bulbs. Jim will lead us on a tour of the grounds, at their best in mid-May. Directions will be emailed before the class. Free for members and friends.
